Charity O. Murr was born at Bado in Texas county, Missouri on October 23, 1870. She was laid to rest at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 17 days. Sister Murr became a christian in her childhood and was a faithful church member throughout her entire life. Mrs. Murr leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Mr. A. J. Murr, Chicago Heights, Illinois, three daughters, Mrs. C. Williams, Mrs. W. F. Buckner and Mrs. B. Saylors all of Steger, Illinois, one son, Roy of Hazelton, Missouri, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 13 grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services held Tuesday in the home of Mr. & Mrs. W. F. Buckner in Steger, Illinois. The body was shipped to Rolla, Missouri, where funeral services were again held at Null & Sons chapel on Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Interment in Rolla Cemetery. Her son, Archie, proceded her in death February 19, 1937.
