The Birmingham News: William O. (Ollie) Adkins, age 75 of Route 2 Trussville, Ala., died Wednesday pm at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Odelia Adkins, one daugher, Mrs. Era Mae Tittle of B'ham, one son William Ralph Adkins of Odenville, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Thera Hinton of Irondale, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service will be held Friday 3:30 pm at Roebuck Chapel, Rev. Bud Glidewell and Rev. Tom Hilyer officiating. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be the nephews. Ridout's Brown Service Roebuck Chapel directing.
