Graveside Services will be conducted on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 2:30 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. Bro. Robert Barger will officiate the service. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
Mr. Woodard was born July 19, 1929, in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Gordie and Carolyn (Fry) Woodard.
He was an inspector for the State of Tennessee and had served in the United States Army.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Jaunita Woodard and one sister, Elwanda Baumgardner.
He is survived by two sisters, Sandy Argo (husband Bobby) of Trezevant and Betty Beebe (husband Harold) of Arlington, Texas; one stepdaughter, Barbara Nance (husband Travis) of Bruceton.
He also leaves one step-grandson, Corey Meggs (wife Nancy) of Dyer, two step-grandchildren, four nieces, and four nephews.
