An obituary on page 2 in the Casper Star-Tribune, Casper Wyoming, printed 7 October 1960, stated that William V. Davis moved to Casper Wyoming in 1947. He worked at Oriental Refining company there until 1957. He was then transferred to Torrington. He moved back to Illinois in August 1960.
