She was married February, 1944, to John E. Hagood. She was 25 and he was 26 at the time. The union was blessed with a son and a daughter.
Her husband was a career Air Force Lt. Col. Her son, buried in Arlington National Cemetery, was awarded the Purple Heart, a Bronze Medal, and was killed in Vietnam. Agnes is a Gold Star Mother.

Survived by daughter, Joyce Sallach; granddaughters: Monica (Chad), Michele, Megan, Amantha (John); great-grandchildren: Riley, Alyssa, Zoe, Dylan and Joslyn; daughter-in-law: Susan Tanfield.
Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, September 4, 2014, at West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, NE. Funeral 10 am Friday, September 5, 2014, also at the Chapel.
Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association, American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
