Opal F. Ward age 94 of Plainfield passed away on September 1, 2014 in Hendricks Regional Health. She was born on August 23, 1920 in Greenfield, Indiana to Vernon and Rintha Woolridge Western. Opal was a 1938 graduate of Clayton High School. She was the widow of Alden Ward. Opal worked over 30 years in the Billing department at Public Service Indiana before her retirement. She was a long time member of the Hazelwood Christian Church. Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield. Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home Rev. Steve Ranson officiating. Burial will follow in Center Valley Cemetery. Survivors include her Children: Ron Ward and Companion Norma, Bonnie Littell and husband Mike. Grandchildren: Julie (Mike) Evans, Lisa (Harlan) Mayner, Brad (Debbie) Ward, Stacy Ward (Friend Steve), Angie (Perry) Potter and Kimberly (Jeff) Stanley and 12 Great-grandchildren.
