Mr. Donald Ray Adkins, age 53 of Marion, died Sunday, November 23, 2003. Donald was born on December 19, 1949 in McDowell County. He was the son of Ruby Krause Adkins of Marion and the late Hurstle Adkins. He was employed with Foss Maritime in Red Dog, Alaska.
In addition to his Mother, Donald is survived by a son, Bradley Adkins of Marion; two sisters, Sue Benton of Marion and Donna McKinney of Lawton, OK; four nephews, one niece and one great niece.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. in Westmoreland Chapel.
