Albert R. Evans, 83, passed away February 27, 2003, in Colorado Springs. He was born February 28, 1919 in Alton, IL., to Joseph W. and Hazel (Collins) Evans, who preceded him in death. Albert married Margarete Breuer on December 30, 1947, in Germany. They had two children, Nanette Holley and Arthur R. Evans, who survive. Richard Evans and Ruth Williams, a brother and sister, and two grandchildren, Lauren and Alyssa Holley, also survive.
Albert served in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Master Sergeant. His family will miss him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post.
