Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Ave. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Swan-Law Cascade Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Carroll officiating. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Koncar was born Sept. 27, 1919, in Jackson, Minn., to George John and Mary (Kanuch) Koncar, who are deceased.
He was married Dec. 24, 1944, in Jackson to Margaret (Mickle) Koncar, who lives in Colorado Springs.
He is also survived by a son, Curtis of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Cathy Koncar and Diane Lujan, both of Colorado Springs; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Doug; a brother, Mike; and a sister, Francis Kaderabek.
Mr. Koncar served in the Army during World War II. He enjoyed cooking and was active in the Lutheran faith. He was more than just a husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He had lived in Colorado Springs since 1958.
