Mrs Hattie Stone Thomas, 67, died Thursday morning at the Baptist Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.

The body is at Mrs. A. J. Morton and Son Funeral Home where visitation will be Saturday night from 8 until 9 o'clock. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm at First Baptist Church on East Eighth St. with the Rev. L. B. Moore officiating.

Burial will be in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her husband John E Thomas; five daughters: Mrs Hattie Alderson and Mrs Ethel Alderson, both of Columbia, Mrs Eloise Johnson, Mrs Henritta Jones, and Mrs Jennie Armstrong, all of Chicago, IL; sisters Mrs Myra Williams of Los Angeles, CA and Mrs Eloise Anderson of Denver, CO.; nine grand-children and five great-grandchildren.
