Samantha Mann married William Cage on 03/19/1868 in McLean Co., IL. (Illinois Marriage Index)
William's 2nd marriage to Samantha Mann 1868 & they had 4 children Ulysses Grant, Sarah Elizabeth Allaman, Myrtle Isabel Ellickson, and John Henry. Stephen Christensen #49180843 also said there was a baby that was still born 1869.

My grandpa took my dad to this cemetery as a kid to decorate and to fix the stone(s) It's possible that Williams's stone(if he had one) fell over and is buried now. My dad didn't know til later when we started doing genealogy who was even buried there and turned out was his great grandparents. He hadn't been there in 50, maybe 60yrs but could drive right back to the cemetery from memory.

On Rte 34 from Biggsville to Monmouth turn right on 2000E (last turn before county line). Will run right into the cemetery. Stone for Samantha is along front but entire cemetery isn't very big at all.

Directions from Monmouth get on 34 towards Burlington. after 1st St. & right after Henderson Cty sign turn left onto 2000E and go few miles. It will be on your right
