Lester H. Cornish, an industrious young man who has for the past seven years conducted a trucking business in Cortland, died at his home 127 Clinton ave early Saturday morning death followed an illness with influenza. He was 31 years old and was born at Fortwood, Schuyler county, son of William and Lorana Cornish and was one of eleven children, four of whom survive. He was a member of the Maceabees and of Vesta lodge No. 255. I. O O. F. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucina Cornish of thi s city: two sisters. Mrs. Lillian Beverly of Ithaca and Mrs. Stella Wordon of Apalachin, N. Y.; also two brothers. Chester Cornish of Cortland and Arthur Cornish of Owego.
