Gladys M. Doble, 93, 2181/2 E. Howard St., died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis.
Gladys was born Aug. 13, 1910, in Marshall County, Minn., to Jessie and Nora Myers Runnion. She moved to Winona in 1922, where she attended Winona Senior High School. Gladys married Larry Doble on June 30, 1927. She worked for the E.L. King Family and was the head cook at the Phelp's School for Winona State University. She is a member of the Homer United Methodist Church and its Ladies Aid; she was a Royal Neighbor and a member of Pocahontas of Winona Council 11
