Adam Surber, Jr was the son of Adam Surber and Margaret Hubble(Hubbell). He married Ruth Hubble(Hubbell) in Washington County, Virginia on Aug. 15, 1797. To thiis union at least 7 children were born: Joseph B. (1799-1880), Mary Jane (WHITED) (1800-1871), Sarah (TOMLINSON then EDMONDSON)(1805-?), Andrew (1807-1879), Adam, III (1812-1877), Waitstill "Waity" (WIDENER) (1816-?), and Isaac Sheffy Surber (1819-1895). He dictated his Last Will & Testament on June 7, 1850. It was entered into Probate on June 24, 1850.
Most likely Adam and Ruth are buried in Saint Clair Bottom Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with her parents, but this is unknown at the present.
