Born April 9, 1945 in Indianapolis, he was a graduate of Harry E. Wood High School.
He worked 23 years with Squire Painting and then purchased the company and for seven years operated WGA Painting Inc. He was a member Grace Baptist Church for many years and currently a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Survivors his wife of 26 years, Mary C. Atwood; children, Mary “Lori” Kemp (Billy), Mary Joellen Sawyer (Tom), Patricia Enlow, Paul Norbert Atwood (Kathy), William “Billy” Atwood Jr (Stacey), James Carson Atwood; God sons, Brandon Michael Giliberto and Tyler Nicholas Giliberto; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Naomi & Butch Malicoat.
