GADSDEN — Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Margaret Vera Edge, age 95, who died Wednesday July 8, 2009. Brother Bruce Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Edge is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Wallace Edge; loving son, Billy Joe Ramsey; sisters, Mary Lee Jenkins, Thelma Irene Garrard, Jettie Mae Brown, and brothers, Johnny, Charles and Virgil Bundrum.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeff (Myra) Ramsey, John (Judy) Ramsey, Todd Ramsey, Misty (Ryan) Watson; step-grandchildren, Jimmy Howell, Ronald (Darlene) Howell, Judy (Gene) Devoll and Bobbie Jean (Steve) Daffron; nineteen great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
