He was a lifelong Floresville resident, a veteran of the Vietnam War and was the owner of Chuca's Bar in Floresville for 27 years.
Preceded in death by: parents, Lucia Orosco Flores and Benito O. Flores, Sr.; sister, Herlinda Martinez.
Survivors include: daughter, Sarah Soto (Leonard); son, Ronnie Ray Flores; sisters Alice Gonzales (Raymond), Eloisa Barrera (Gilbert), and Lillie Garcia (Valentin); brother, Joe Flores (Anita); five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.
A rosary was recited on Monday in the funeral home at 7 p.m.
Inurnment followed at a later date.
