MRS. MESSERSCHMIDT DIES AT ST. CHARLES. St. Charles, Minn. (Special) --Funeral services for Mrs Edward Messerschmidt, 72, a past president of the Minnesota Council of Parents and Teachers, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Jacobs funeral home here.

The Rev. L. W. Hallett, Rochester, will officiate and burial will be in
Acacia cemetery, St. Paul.

Mrs. Messerschmidt died Thursday at the area farm home of her stepdaughter, Mrs. Russell Cravath. She had been taken there about two weeks ago and had been in ill health two years.

Born June 2, 1879, at St. Louis, Mo., she was married to Mr. Messerschmidt October 3, 1938, and had lived at St. Charles since. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and guild and of the Shakespeare club here.

Surviving are her husband; one sister, Mrs. Henry J. Sidow, Aberdeen, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Harriet Green, Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Victoria Waters, Brownsville, Texas; one son, Samuel Chealtram, Duluth; five stepchildren, Mrs. Cravath and Charles Messerschmidt, St. Charles; Rowan Messerschmidt, Kansas City, Mo.; Donald, Genoa, Ill., and Edwin, Anderson, Ind., and 12 grandchildren.
