GRAND SALINE - Services for Dona Fisher, 99, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Grand Saline, with the Rev. Dan Gilliam and Brother Bert Fite officiating.

Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery under direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mrs. Fisher died Oct. 3, 2007, in a Grand Saline hospital.

She was born July 16, 1908, in Glen Rose to the late Robert and Ann Valentine Martin. She lived most of her life in Grand Saline and was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Cozby-Germany Hospital Auxiliary, United Methodist Women, Grand Saline Study Club and Fun After Fifty-Five (FAFF).

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.J. Fisher; son, Wallace J. Fisher; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Ritchie and Bobbie Peden, both of Grand Saline; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Honorary pallbearers are Stanley Friedline Sunday School Class.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

If desired, memorials may be made to Woodside Cemetery; or charity of choice.
