Mrs. Maude Binkley Dies
Mrs. Maude Binkley, 65, died at home of her son, Ray Binkley, at 4 o'clock Wednesday [Feb 25] morning. She had been in poor health for about ten years.
Mrs. Binkley was born in Leavenworth county July 25, 1877, and was the oldest daughter of John and Dorothy Kirkpatrick. Her marriage to George Binkley took place in 1901, and they immediately began housekeeping on a farm a half mile north of Potter. Mr. Binkley died in 1910.
Mrs. Binkley is survived by four children, Ray Binkley, of Potter; Chester, of Nearman; Mrs. Ruth Lohr, Alton, Ill.; Mrs. Georgia Mair, of Nortonville; 12 grandchildren; one brother, William Kirkpatrick, Easton, and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Winfrey, Easton, Mrs Theo Asbury.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Christian church in Potter.
Interment in Fairview cemetery.

Funeral Services Mrs. Maude Binkley
Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Binkley, who died Wednesday, February 25, were held at the Potter Christian church Friday afternoon at 1:30, and a large crowd of relatives and friends were present to pay their last repect to this good woman. The Rev. Nash officiated. Interment was in the Fairview cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Goehner, Marion Surritte, Harry DeLand, Fred Binkley, Bryant Sprang, Fred Watson.
