Mrs. Snyder was born on October 28, 1921, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Preston and Elsie Brenneman. She retired from AMP Inc., where she was employed for 22 years as a machine operator having worked at the Glen Rock, Larue, and Jacobus Plants. Mrs. Snyder was a member of Friendship Farm Women Group 19, Daughters of American Golden Rod 24 of New Freedom, Austin L. Grove American Legion Post # 403 Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary of Rose Fire Company # 4, of New Freedom, Ladies Auxiliary of Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Company, York Natural Food and Health Association, Ladies Auxiliary of Fireman's Association of YorkCounty, Grange Centennial 2074, of Codorus, Jefferson Chapter of AARP, Ladies Sunday School Class of Messiah Jerusalem Church, Of Railroad.
She also attended Harvest Time Temple in Hanover, St. Paul's Church, of Millers, Md., and was a friendly neighbors of St. John Lutheran Church of New Freedom. Mrs. Snyder leaves a daughter Darlene Tucker, of Toms River, N.J.; and a son, Larry Snyder of Glen Rock; three grandchildren, Vicki Kopack of Howell, N.J., Karen Castillo, of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., and Ethan Snyder of Cordova, Tenn.; and five great- grandchildren.
