Billy D. Adams, 78, was born the son of Charles and Ola Virginia McPherson Adams.
The Optics Manager for the Highspeed Test Track for many years he worked for Land-Air, DynCorp, NewTec and NASA.
He enjoyed playing golf, growing tomatoes, making homemade salsa and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Adams; sons Dennis Alan, Duane Lee and Lee Allen; grandchildren Stephanie Bunker, Andy, Jenny, Collin and Nolan Adams; and great-grandson Matthew Collin Adams.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and his mother, Ola Adams Ashley, sister, Judith Ann "Judy " Adams Tubbs, in 2012, a daughter, Lisa Marie Bunker, in 2010, and grandson Bryon Lee Adams.
