Michael Schaun Adkison, 26, of Crowley, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2001, in a local hospital. He was a Disc Jockey. Michael, A.K.A. DJ MERLYN, loved California Techno Music, and his greatest desire was to spin music that everyone could love and appreciate as much as he did.

Michael is survived by parents, Larry and Vivian Adkison of Crowley; brother, Paul Adkison of Crowley; sister, Laura Judd and her husband, Mickey, of Fort Worth; grandparents, Jim and Yvonne Johnson of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncles and aunts, Douglas, Ronald and Susan Payne, all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jim and Bobbie Adkison of Claremore, Oklahoma, George and Marlene Adkison of Texarkana, Arkansas, Betty and Jack Sanders of Eastland, Texas, Annette and Gene Grigsby of Oskaloosa, Kansas, Nancy Campbell of Spokane, Washington; numerous cousins and friends.

Graveside services were held at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Rendon.

Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home of Burleson/Fort Worth handled the arrangements.
