Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of Moore's Funeral Home last Friday for Willis Emory Yarbrough, 33, who died August 20th of a gunshot wound which a coroner's jury ruled was self inflicted.
The Rev. R.L. Hayes and the Rev. Joseph A. Moore were the officiating ministers. Burial with Military honors was in Westview Cemetery.
Mr. Yarbrough is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ione Layfield; one daughter, Dianne Yarbrough; three step-sons, Charles Osborne and David Osborne of Milledgeville, and Johnny Osborne, U.S. Marines, Parris Island, S.C.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Betty Pennington Davis, N. Augusta, S.C. and Mrs. Joan Pennington Turner, Atlanta; three brothers, Emmett and Milton Yarbrough of Homestead, Florida, and J.R. Yarbrough, Fitzgerald; three sisters , Mrs. Ernest Collins, Danville, Mrs. Eddie W. Jackson of Milledgeville, and Mrs. W.W. Clark Jonesboro.
