Christa M. Bollinger
Mrs. Christa M. Bollinger, 87, of Martinez, GA, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Morningside Assisted Living of Evans.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:30 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Myron Ivey officiating.
Christa was a native of Germany and moved to Martinez in 1960. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Augusta.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edgar A. Bollinger, Sr., son, Allen (Diane) Bollinger, Charlotte, NC, granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Bollinger , Charlotte, NC, sister, Brigitte Schwarz, 2 nieces and 1 nephew, all of Germany.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 3pm on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Advent Lutheran Church Building Fund, 3232 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA, 30907 and to CareSouth Hospice of Augusta, 231 Fury's Ferry Rd., Suite 212, Augusta GA 30907.
