Mrs. Anna A. Mexdorf
Funeral services are pending at the O’Keefe & Towne Funeral Home for Mrs. Anna A. Mexdorf, 87, of Walnut Court Apartments, who died Sunday morning at the Western Home in Cedar Falls of complications of a stroke. Friends may call after 6 p.m.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1880, in Albert Lea, Minn., the daughter of William and Marh Sachs Felsing.
The resided in Waterloo all of her life. She was married to Herman O. Mexdorf on April 18, 1914 in Waterloo. He died in July of 1940.
Surviving is one son, Robert C. of 408 Ivanhoe Road; and three grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter; two brothers and four sisters.
She was an employe of Black’s Department Store for 40 years; and a lifelong member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church.
