Eibert Den Herder 85, a resident of the Pioneer Home for several years passed away at the Grossmann Hospital Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Pioneer Home and at 2 o'clock in the First Ref. Church of Sioux Center with the Rev. Henry Colenbrander officiating.
Surviving are 1 son, Rev. Bert Den Herder and his wife and their 3 children of Grand Rapids, Mich.
Mrs.Den Herder preceded her husband in death in 1937.
Burial was made at the Sioux Center Cemetery.
Coming from a distance besides the Rev. Den Herder family were nephews and nieces to attend the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Chris Draayer, Bert Draayer, Mrs. John Draayer and Mrs. Henry Reynen all from Hollandale, Minn.
