S/O Noah Dekalb & Martha (Mattie) Lucretia Hardy Wyatt.
Married Chloe Lorrina Rickets on 24 Feb 1918 in Thayer, Oregon County, Missouri.

Two days later, he shipped out to France where he died from shell fire in a forest near Seine-et-Marne, Ile-de-France, and was buried in the American cemetery in Verdun, France.

His mother could not rest, however, until he was back on American soil so paperwork was started to have his remains transferred back to his native state where he was interred in Springfield National Cemetery, Greene County, Missouri on 14 Aug 1921.
