Helen C Neeves Buried At Berlin Sunday, Nov 16

Mrs Helen C Neeves, widow of George A Neeves and for many years a resident of Wisconsin Rapids, Was buried at Berlin, Wis., on Sunday, November 16. Mrs Neeves died Thursday, November 13, at the home of her son, Leland K Neeves, in Glencoe, Ill.

Mrs Neeves was the daughter of a Dr Mark A Mosher, a physician prominent in Wisconsin Rapids, over 30 years ago. She taught for a period of years in the Howe school and was in charge of some of the first high school classes ever held in the old city of Gand Rapids. Among her pupils were a number of the older men now prominent in the business life of the city. Her husband, George A Neeves, was a prominent figure in the early industrial activities of the city, having been the owner and operator of a saw mill located approximately at the sit of the G.P. Berkey residence on Third street south.

Mr and Mrs Neeves moved away from Wisconsin Rapids about 25 years ago to make their home in a Chicago suburb. Mr Neeves died in 1916 and was buried at Berlin, Wis, in the same cemetery where his wife's remains were placed a week ago Sunday.
