SHANK'S FERRY - Elva V. Eisensmith, 85, formerly of Shank's Ferry, died at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday at York Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the wife of the late Clarence A. Eisensmith.

The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eisensmith was born in Chanceford Township. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lottie (Bell) Frey.

She was a cigarmaker by trade in both the Dallastown and Red Lion areas. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Dallastown.

Mrs. Eisensmith is survived by a son, Harold D. Eisensmith of Dallastown; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Daugherty.

Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Richard G. Felty.
