Funeral Awaits Arrival of Son From Capital

No Definite Time Is Fixed for Burial of Mr. Harreld; Senator Is On Way From Washington

Funeral services for Thomas Nelson Harreld, 79 years old, who died at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, are being held up pending the arrival of Senator J. W. Harreld, who left Washington Wednesday night for this city.

It is probable that deceased will be buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. All members of the family, excepting the senator, are here today to attend the services.

Survivors of deceased are his wife, three sons, Harley of Enid, Eugene T., postmaster of Ardmore, and Senator J. W. Harreld of Washington; and one daughter Mrs. R. B. Drake of Hugo.

Mr. Harreld had made his home in Ardmore for many years and was included among that list of pioneers who have given a great part of their life to advancing their community. He was born in Logansport, Kentucky. Death came Wednesday after a lingering illness at his home 615 A street, northwest.
