Mrs. Wm Whitmer died in her home in Emlenton,Pa. on Feb.12th 1908 of tuberculocis after an illness of several months. She is survived by her husband William Whitmer and two sons ,Clifford and Elgie. Also her father James Caldwell,one sister,Mrs. Robert(Elizabeth) Ritts and two brothers,H.A. Caldwell of Cherry Tree and J.J. Caldwell of Emlenton,Pa. Deceased was born June 13th 1877 and died Feb. 12th 1908, being 30 years, 7 months and 29 days old.Friends escorted the remains to the Evangelical Church near Mariasville where services were conducted by Rev. Wyant. Interment was in the cemetery there.
