Angelo Prescott Cram was born November 6, 1850 at Meredith, New Hampshire to Charles Sanborn Cram and Eliza Jane Prescott. His father Charles was a polygamist with 2 wives, Angelo's mother being wife #1. Angelo had 7 siblings and 4 half siblings.

Angelo married twice, first to Joan Doxford, d/o Joseph Foster Doxford and Charlotte F. Laird. Angelo and Joan were married October 8, 1874. They had 3 children together; Joseph William Cram (1876-1931), Violet Charlotte Cram Hendrickson Rogers(1878-1964) and Elizabeth Cram Hendrickson Stine(1880-1955).

Angelo married second Mary Wallace on November 25, 1882 at Coalville, Utah. Mary d/o John Wallace and Jane McCormick Wilson and Angelo had 6 children; Elizabeth Wallace Cram (1886-1971), Charles Wallace Cram (1889-), Clara Wallace Cram (1892-1968), Matilda Cram (1895-1899), Jane Cram (1896-) and Susan Cram who was stillborn after her father passed in 1898). Mary was pregnant with Susan when Angelo passed on July 12, 1897 at Chicago, Illinois.

Angelo moved his family with Mary to Chicago around 1892 when he heard of work building the World's Fair.
