Executive Dies

Bruce Graves, 43, assistant secretary and office sales manager of the Humphryes Mfg. company, died Friday afternoon at his home, Blymyer Ave., after a short illness.

Mr. Graves was born in Princeton, KS, coming to this vicinity in 1920. He was employed for a time at Big Prairie, later coming to Mansfield. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, American Legion, Mansfield lodge No. 34, F. and A. M. and the Masonic chapter and council.

Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Longsdorf, to whom he was married in 1923; a son, Bruce Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Hering of Vermillion, KS., and Mrs. Lydia Grigsly of Denver, CO; one brother, Fred Graves of Edgewater, CO.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the home, with Rev. G. E. Swoyer officiating. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery.
