This stone is a memorial, not a grave marker. It is in the parking lot against the side of the church building. According to Sonja B. and Dave W. Eason, she is buried at the Welborn farm in Shady Grove, Mississippi. The Easons also submitted the following excerpt from Welborns & Related Families with Roots in North & South Carolina, by Gene Welborn, 1994, p. 45:

****
On April 3, 1878, Lucy Welborn, aged 81 and resident of Jones County, Arkansas, applied for a pension as widow of Aaron Welborn, Sergeant in Capt. Jacob Reed's Company, Col. William Austin's Regiment of S.C. Militia, Jan 1, 1815 through April 1, 1815. She was blind in her old age; she signed the pension application by a mark. She was a native of North Carolina.
****

[Note that the book was in error in saying that she was a resident of Jones County, Arkansas. It should say Jones County, Mississippi.]
