Pearl Allums, 95, of Bagley died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 1998, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in McCormack Cemetery. Elder Armond Ritch and the Rev. Randy Davis will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
She was a charter member of New Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Allums; son, Paul Allums; daughter, Aileen Robins; and grandson, Jerry Allums.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy and her husband, Doyle Brooks of Baldwin, Ga.; son, J.D. and his wife, Lucille Allums of Bagley; sister, Myrtle Phillips of Hoover; brother, Ellis White of Pelham; daughter-in-law, Christine Allums of Bagley; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
