Mary G. Riley, 81, Duncansville, died Friday, August 1, 2014, at her home.
She was born September 25, 1932, in Newry, daughter of the late George F. and Dorothy (McCoy) Boyer. On June 27, 1959, she married Thomas H. Riley in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage; a daughter, Georgiann M. Yeager of Newry; a son, Paul J. Riley and wife, Suzann, of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Kevin, Thomas, Kathryn and Riley; a sister, Eloise Cassidy of Newry; a brother, Raymond McCoy Boyer of Newry; a son-in-law, Steve Yeager; a cousin and best friend, Daisy McCoy; and a future granddaughter-in-law, Katherine David.
She was preceded in death by a grand-daughter, Leaha Marie.
Mary was a 1951 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and was a graduate of Altoona School of Commerce.
She retired from Central Bank with 44 years of service as assistant manager.
Mary was a life-long member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry.
She enjoyed her family and caring for them, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
At the family's request, there will be no viewing. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg. Committal will be at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or School Endowment Fund.
