Elma Kate Franklin,81,died April 1,2005 at Fountain City Nursing Home.She was born July 14,1923 in Columbus,Ga to the late Kate Fears and Luther Lee Dawkins.She attended the public schools of Muscogee County and graduated from spencer high School and joined Holsey Monumental CME Church at an early age.She traveled the U.S. and Germany as a military spouse.Elma leaves to mourn her passing a daughter,Sheila Vega(Jose),brother,Walter Dawkins(Corrine),sister,Mildred Stroud(Julius),three grandchildren,Lavonda Dion Davis,Xander Kedar Davis and Aailyah Keauna Bailey and a host of other nieces,nephews,pther relatives and friends.Funeral Servcie held April 9,2005 at Holsey Monumental CME Church.
