Graveside services for Sherman Harrison Bransford, 97, of South Fulton will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, Ky., with Dr. Charles Moody officiating.
Mr. Bransford died at 4:43 a.m. Thursday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, Ky.
He was a native of Obion County, and was a cook at The Keg Restaurant in Fulton for several years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Neeley of Portsmouth, Va.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Essie Stunson Bransford; a daughter, Helen Bransford; a brother; and a sister. His parents were Matthew and Addie Pierce Bransford.
