Age 88, son of the late Leon and Mildred Wallbridge Canfield.

Ken was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the United States Army stationed in Burma. He was a motor pool master sergeant in the combat engineer and helped build the Burma Road. He was a graduate of Academy High School and was a member of the Lowville Methodist Church. He worked at General Electric in Erie for 40 years as a welder in Bldg. 18 and retired in 1981. Ken was also self-employed owning and operating a Skiroule snowmobile dealership in Wattsburg where he also sold wood burning stoves for several years.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peg" Doolittle Canfield (2001); an infant son and daughter; and a sister, Dorothy Fannin.

Survivors include, a daughter, Sandra Gatti and husband James of Wattsburg; a grandson; a granddaughter; and great-grandsons.

Interment Lowville Cemetery.
