---Donald J. "Mose" Brown, 45, of Auburn, died unexpectedly at 8:50 AM Saturday, May 16, 1992, in the DeKalb County Hospital, Auburn. Born April 24, 1947, in Lafayette, he moved to Auburn three years ago. He was married to Karen S. Bridge on Aug. 14, 1965, in Lafayette; she survives. She is a teacher at the Presbyterian Day Care Center in Auburn.
Mr. Brown graduated from East Tipp High School and was employed as an engineer for the CSX Railroad the past 23 years. He was a former employee of the Monon Railroad. He was a Vietnam War veteran and was a member of American Legion Post 11, and had been chairman of the United Transportation Union Local in Lafayette.
Also surviving are a son, Christopher D. Brown of Lafayette; a daughter, Tamara L. Brown, at home; his father, John C. Brown of Lafayette; a brother, Richard C. Brown of Brownsville, CA; and a sister, Sandra S. Reeder of Lafayette.
