Survivors include his wife, Edna O’Shields; a son, Jim and Helen O’Shields, Fayetteville; brothers, Lamar O’Shields, Douglasville, Charles O’Shields, Winter Haven, Florida, and Harold O’Shields, Senoia; a grandson, Michael O’Shields; four step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
