Major League Baseball Player. Pitcher for the New York Giants from 1946 to 1953. He was a starting pitcher early in his career until 1950 when he took on a relief role near the end of his career. He pitched in the 1951 World Series for the Giants against the New York Yankees. He appeared in Games Four and Five pitching a total of three innings and did not record a decision. In his eight year career, he went 42-55 with seven shutouts and four saves in the 249 games he appeared.
