He leaves behind a large loving family, including his father, Peter Albrecht and his wife, Margaret, of Newbury, MA,

his mother, Constance Trowbridge and her wife Susan of Seattle, WA,

brothers
David of Los Angeles, CA
and Matthew of Greenfield, MA,
sisters
Kate and her partner Martha of Greenfield and Plainfield, MA,
Cynthia and her partner Dirk of Westminster, VT and Westford, MA, and Eugenie and her husband, John of Portland, OR,

in addition to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition, he leaves behind his dearest friends, Rolf and Kemi of Boston, MA and their daughters,
Thomas's beloved godchildren, Angelique and Isabelle.

Thomas worked for many years in Brigham and Women's Hospital security, and was involved in the aftermath of the Marathon Bombing in 2013, when many of the victims were brought to B&W, and he is missed by the follow members of the security team and by Boston police officers and EMTs with whom he had worked.

Interment will be at Forest Hills Cemetery on August 30 at 1:00PM. A celebration of Thomas's life will follow at 65 Cornwall St., Jamaica Plain.
