Former Bellingham resident and executive director of Whatcom County United Way, Arthur B. Leonard, 66, of Everett died Monday in his residence.
Mr. Leonard ran the local United Way from 1964 to 1982. He was a captain in the US Air Force during World War II and was a member of the Bellingham Rotary Club and Bellingham Elks Club.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur Ray Leonard of Houston, Texas, and Nelson Gray Leonard of Everett; two sisters, Rose Evelyn Logan of Houston and Lillian Laurence of Rockdale, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending by Westford Funeral Home.
