Husband of:

Prior to 1860, Morris Johnson (like most of his family) was a farmer in Oneida Township.

By 1860, he and his brother, Smith Johnson, moved to Oneida Township, Eaton County, Michigan, where they each owned adjoining 80-acre parcels. Both owned property in Oneida Township, as indicated by two 80-acre parcels of land on the 1860 map: Smith Johnson owned 80 acres in southeast section 6, while Morris Johnson owned an adjoining 80 acres in southwest section 5.

His brother, Smith Johnson, was born in 1820 NY and married Almina Lovell/Lowell and they had a son, Morris Johnson 1821.

His brother, Truman, was born c.1815-1817 in NY and resided in Grand Ledge with his wife Cynthia Royce of VT. Truman died c.1886 maybe in Grand Ledge and Cynthia died in 1908 in Alameda County, CA.

Edmund is probably from RI and might have died in Varysburg, Wyoming, NY. Edmund Johnson's parents were Edmund Johnson Sr. and Waite Matteson.
