Edna Mae Gross, age 71, of Plymouth, MI, formerly of Breathitt County, passed away Friday, September 29, 2000, at Plymouth, MI, following a long illness. Born May 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Miller Stamper Shouse. She was the widowed wife of Ike Gross and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Stephens of Plymouth, MI; one son, Ike Gross, Jr., of Plymouth, MI; three brothers, Edgar Shouse of Jackson, KY, G.B. Shouse of Bethel, OH, and V.T. Shouse of Jackson, KY; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Everett Shouse.
Funeral services were Thursday, October 5, 2000, at 11:00 AM, at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Noble officiating. Burial followed in the Gross Family Cemetery at Curt, KY. Pallbearers were friends of family. Watts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
