Mrs. John P. Dickinson died at her residence in New Albany township on Saturday last after a lingering illness, leaving a husband and many friends to mourn her untimely taking off. The funeral took place on Sunday and the remains were tenderly cared for and interred in the Cemetery a this point.

Also in the Colo column:

Mrs. John Dickinson living two miles southwest of Colo, died Saturday morning and interment took place in the Colo cemetery Sunday afternoon.
---------
I posted her mothers obit it names Marvilla when she was Mrs M M Stewart. Marvilla divorced her first husband John C Porter, then married her second husband Ivey Stewart whose father was Robert Stuart mar. to Ann Hornaday. Ivey's older brother was Alexander Stewart and wife Rebecca Clark Stewart whose son Robert G Stewart and Nancy Vandervort moved 1869 to Paola, Miami, Kansas. The connection is Robert G Stewart's son Flavius married Eugenia Wheeler whose sister is Marvilla M Wheeler Porter Stewart Dickinson. Not sure what the relationship is it is a bit confusing.
Marvilla M. Wheeler was married three times: first to John Christian Porter in 1868, second to Ivey Stewart in 1882, and third to John Prince Dickinson in 1899.

She and John Christian Porter had three children, she is the daughter of Dr Charles Wheeler and Ellen Pratt.

Children:
Melvilla V "Melva" Porter Morford
1871 – 1928

Charles Silvanas Porter
1872 – 1966

Maude Eva Porter Stewart
1874 – 1962
