Mrs. Dannels Passes Away Early Today

Mrs. Minna Ann Dannels, 57, a resident of Havre for nearly 30 years, passed away early this morning at a local hospital, following a lingering illness. Born September 24, 1888 at Fredonia, Kansas, she came to Havre in April, 1917. She is survived by her husband, Frank M. Dannels, whom she had married in Fredonia. They have made their home at 333 12th avenue in Havre since coming here.

She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. K. Fewer of Hinsdale and Mrs. M. F. Bailey of LaPorte, Ind.; three sons, Frank, Jr., and Maurice of Great Falls, and Paul of Shelby; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Stroud of Fredonia and Mrs. Carrie Barton of Corvallis, Ore., and one brother, Dr. O. G. Vollnar of Montgomery, Minn. There are also 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A member of the Baptist church, Mrs. Dannels had been active in church work until she became ill about five years ago. Her sister, Mrs. Barton of Corvallis, had been in Havre visiting a short time ago.

Funeral services have been arranged for Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Holland & Bonine Doerksen of the Baptist church officiating.
