Walter E. Spurrier, 84, of Hartland, died Sunday in Lake Shore Nursing Home in Waseca.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Rolf Storlie will officiate.
A native of Columbia, Indiana, he was born October 18, 1890. His parents were the late William and Manda Spurrier.
His wife, the former Ella Swanson preceded him ion death in 1943.
Survivors are
A son; Hans W. of Robbinsdale
A brother: Clifford
Four Grandchildren
One great grandson
The past several years he has been making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Gifford Swanson.
